Headgear:
US Issue M1858 Dress Hat (incorrectly known as a Hardee) 
US Issue Forage cap
Civilian slouch hat (prefer black or dark brown)

Jackets:
Fatigue Blouse (hand or machine sewn)
Shell Jacket
Enlisted Frock Coat

Trousers:
Foot pattern (sky blue)

Shirts:
M1851 domet flannel issue (hand sewn)
Contract type, machine sewn, solid colors

Civilian style (hand or machine sewn)

Shoes:
US issue Jefferson bootee, sewn or pegged soles
Private purchase, sewn or pegged soles
US issue boot

Underclothes:
Drawers, while not required, are highly recommended.
Socks should be of correct materials- wool or cotton
* Soldiers are highly encouraged to carry a minimum of one extra change of socks as well as a spare shirt and drawers if practicable.

Cartridge Box:
M1857 .58 cal Federal box
M1861 .58 cal Federal box

Cap Pouch:
M1850 sewn, (with or without rivets on belt loops)
M1850 shield front variant, sewn (with or without rivets on belt loops)

Waist Belt:
M1850 (with leather keeper)

Scabbard:
M1861, sewn, 2 rivet
M1857, sewn, no rivets

Haversack:
M1851 issue (tarred)
White contract issue (limited numbers)

Canteen:
M1858 Smoothside (covered)

Knapsack:
Federal M1853/1855 double bag
Early pattern hardpack (extremely limited numbers)

Blanket:
Federal issue
Plain civilian (preferably earth tone)

Groundcloth:
Federal issue painted cloth
Federal issue rubber

Long-arms:
3 Band Rifle Muskets

Tentage:
A-Frame tents are strongly encouraged as this is a winter garrison event. There should be only one per every three (3) men. Sibley tents are permitted per every nine (9) men. Correct Federal issue shelter halves, one per man, are accepted.

Misc:
Period tools are strongly recommended. These may include, but are not limited to: axes, shovels, mallets, splitting wedges, saws, hammers, etc.
